Not Magnum!
Dear Ed: I was extremely disappointed to read a slagging letter to the editor (Limp Plagiarism) in the December issue of AdMedia from an anonymous ‘Alert Reader from Aotearoa’. Magnum is the advertising agency for Porsche in NZ, correct! But the advert in question came from a global campaign out of Germany and not placed by Magnum. The advert was not tagged with a Magnum key number as it would have, had the copy been generated by us. By the way, I have never heard of ‘The greatest, multi-award winning BMW headline of all time’ and if I did I doubt it would start with not so creative If life is a journey … It would be nice if you could clear this up and be a little more careful before slating someone without first checking the facts.
